I am the Head of the Maidstone Residential Department and have been an Associate within Whitehead Monckton since 2014.
I first joined Whitehead Monckton in 2007 and have almost 40 years of experience in Conveyancing and Land Law.
I am delighted to offer my expertise and advice to Docklands Solicitors’ clients following our merger with them in October 2016.
I have expertise in:
Leasehold Sales, Purchases and Lease extensions
Help to Buy Scheme
Shared Ownership transactions
Right to Buy
Equity Release matters
Freehold sales and purchases
Assignment of existing property Contracts
I have worked in Kent for most of my career, but I also gained valuable experience working for two years in the City of Westminster, within a Practice which dealt with the more complex London Leases as a matter of routine.
I have also lectured at the Mid Kent College on Law and Practice of Conveyancing and also Land Law to students studying to become Legal Executives and Licensed Conveyancers.
When out of the Office
I enjoy country pursuits such as clay pidgeon shooting (badly) and I am a Member of the Shotgun and Chelsea Bun Club for women who enjoy shooting. I also belong to a shooting syndicate where I am a Lady Gun (although no danger to the birds as, sadly I could not shoot them if they were at the end of my barrel) I enjoy beating on local shoots, during the game season as well as walking my dogs.
I have three grown up children and so when all of our busy lives allow, I also love spending time with them and my Grandchildren whenever possible.
