You will want a personal, caring and professional approach to your specific needs and requirements. Clients come to us because, not only do they know they will get expert advice and support, but they know we will care and listen to them.
We offer expertise to enable you to make future plans for yourself through your Will and if appropriate a Lasting Power of Attorney. This can also include tax planning to enable you to take action to minimise future Inheritance Tax liability.
Through our Legal Review Programme we can ensure that the planning you have put in place remains current and up to date in terms of the law as well as your wishes and personal circumstances. For members of the Legal Review Programme we will annually review your Succession Planning documentation and provide you with written recommendations. The programme is bespoke to you and your needs, and ensures our relationship doesn’t end with the signing of your Will.
We also provide support and expertise to families when someone dies, dealing with the administration of estates at that very difficult time. There may also be times when disputes arise over people’s estates or Wills and we can also help to resolve these for you.
In particular as people become more elderly, their ability (or sometimes, just their desire) to manage their affairs can decline and we can provide sensitive and understanding advice and support to individuals and their families. All our team members who advise elderly clients and their families are “Dementia Friends” and therefore have that greater understanding of the issues that they face.
Our “Tax and Estate” team provide this service and they are trained to help you through what can be a difficult time.
You will want accurate and honest advice, not just an explanation of the rules and options and we will do all we can to make your plans and actions easier for you.
Our offices are in a convenient location in the heart of Docklands. Following our merger with Whitehead Monckton, we also can offer their three offices in Canterbury,Maidstone and Tenterden if one of these locations is more convenient.
