Rebecca has been a specialist family solicitor for more than 25 years. She undertakes all aspects of family work and her experience and expertise are recognised by her membership of specialist family panels.

In 2005, Rebecca set up Docklands Solicitors with her partners.

Rebecca is an accredited specialist on the Resolution panel of family lawyers. Resolution is the leading organisation for family solicitors and their accreditation scheme tests the knowledge and experience of panel solicitors.

Rebecca is also on the Law Society’s Family Law panel.

As a peer reviewer for the Legal Services Commission, she assesses the quality of work of other solicitors around the country who offer publicly funded work.

Rebecca has dealt with numerous financial settlements for divorcing spouses and separating partners. She has prepared living together agreements, pre-nuptial agreements and separation agreements for mixed sex and same sex couples. Rebecca has many years experience of children cases, not only in residence and contact disputes but also prohibited steps, adoptions, including the adoption of children from abroad, and abductions.

She reflects Resolution’s conciliatory and constructive approach to resolving family cases. However, she is firm when necessary to protect her client’s interests. Rebecca’s approach is to identify the issues, give clear advice to clients and enable them to make informed decisions. She takes cases forward to positive outcomes without inflaming already difficult situations.

A large proportion of Rebecca’s clients come from personal recommendations from former clients and from fellow professionals.
