I read law at Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London and graduated in 2001. After University, I went on to undertake further legal study at the Inns of Court School of Law in London.
I trained as a solicitor at Irwin Mitchell in London and qualified in 2006. I have specialised exclusively in the employment field for over ten years.
I am delighted to offer my expertise and advice to Docklands Solicitors’ clients following our merger with them in October 2016.
A particular focus of mine is Employment Tribunal advocacy. As in- house advocate at Capsticks, I represented a number of NHS Trusts, at Employment Tribunal hearings across London and the South East. I find that my direct experience of Employment Tribunals is a valuable experience, on which to draw when advising clients about employment issues.
I joined the firm in March 2016 and look forward to working with the firm’s existing clients and new ones.
I regularly advise and represent employers. I always seek to provide commercial and pragmatic, cost effective advice. I have particular experience of working with businesses in the healthcare, retail, and construction sectors. I have also worked with schools, charities and a number of SME’s.
I often work for employees too. I am able to provide advice to employees about their options, contracts, grievances and employment disputes. I am often engaged to negotiate exit packages and settlement agreements. I have recently advised and represented individuals working in banking, healthcare, construction and the media, as well as other senior employees/directors and professionals.
I can help with:
- Drafting documentation such as contracts and handbooks.
- General advice on disciplinary, grievance and employment matters.

When out of the office:
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to Radio 4 and growing things. I live in Kent and feel lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the world.
